Prizes & Awards

NELA awards an annual prize to the best environmental law essay by an undergraduate student. The topic for the essay is usually set in the first half of the year. The winner receives a framed certificate, airfare to the next annual National Conference and free conference registration.

Special awards may also be made to an individual in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the field of environmental law.
