SUMMARY:Trends in climate litigation
DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with the Asian Australian Lawyers Association (AALA)\, join NELA and AALA  on 9 November 2021 at 6PM AEDT (3PM AWST) for a webinar on first\, second and third generations of climate litigation\, the interaction of different actors in climate litigation processes and future directions of climate litigation.  \nThe webinar will be presented by Matt Floro. \nMatt is a Senior Solicitor advising on environmental\, planning\, climate change and administrative law at EDO. He has practised environmental and planning law in Queensland\, Victoria and New South Wales working in the public\, private and non-profit sectors. \nAt EDO\, Matt has had carriage of several ground-breaking cases\, including the Rocky Hill climate change litigation\, the Bushfire Survivors climate action\, the KEPCO Bylong NSW Court of Appeal action and major water litigation involving the upper Murray-Darling Basin.
