Submission on the Native Vegetation Policy for Western Australia

The West Australian division of the National Environmental Law Association (NELA(WA)) made the below submission on the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation’s (DWER) draft: Native Vegetation Policy for Western Australia (Policy). The Policy proposes the strategic direction to modernise native vegetation management in Western Australia. The purposes of the Policy is to protect and enhance Western Australia’s native vegetation and promote a contemporary, whole-of-government approach to steering the complex system of organisations and individuals involved in native vegetation, policymaking and management.
