A Comparative Study: Independent Planning Bodies in NSW, Victoria and Tasmania

The webinar focuses on:

  • the functions and responsibilities of independent planning bodies in New South Wales (NSW Independent Planning Commission), Victoria (Planning Panels and Environmental Effects Inquiries) and Tasmania (Tasmania Planning Commission);

  • conduct of public hearings;

  • testing of expert evidence;

  • opportunities for reform.

The webinar was chaired by Matt Floro. Matt is a Senior Solicitor advising on environmental, planning, climate change and administrative law at the Environmental Defenders Office.
