The below submission was made on behalf of the West Australian division of the National Environmental Law Association (NELA(WA)), and endorsed by the national NELA board, regarding the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation’s draft Guideline: Native Vegetation Referral. This Guideline implements various provisions relating to clearing of native vegetation provided in the Environmental Protection Amendment Act 2020 (WA).
