Mike Rowe – Director-General of the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER)
Mike Rowe is the Director General of the department, which was established on 1 July 2017. He will speak to the new WA Climate Change policy which was released by the DWER in November 2020.
Glen McLeod – Principal at Glen McLeod Legal
Glen is independently recognised as one of Western Australia’s preeminent environmental and planning lawyers and has over 40 years experience in that field. Glen will be speaking to the Environmental Protection Authority’s ‘Greenhouse Gas Emissions’ Environmental Factor Guideline.
Karen Boyce – Energy Projects Approvals Manager at Fortescue Metals Group (FMG)
Karen has 25 years of experience working in Major Hazard Facilities and is responsible for promoting safe operation whilst focussing on minimising environmental impacts. Her specialties include energy efficiency and greenhouse gas reduction strategy.
