More about the speaker
Her Honour Peta Stilgoe OAM is the Acting President of the Land Court of Queensland and has a long history of Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR). In 2007, her Honour became the first ADR Registrar in the Planning and Environment Court of Queensland.
Her Honour then assisted in incorporating ADR into the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal, of which she was appointed as a Member and then Senior Member.
In 2013, her Honour’s services to dispute resolution were recognised with an Medal of the Order of Australia (General Division).
Acting President’s current appointment to the Land Court of Queensland is no exception to her Honour’s career with ADR, with the Court utilising Preliminary Conferences and Court Managed Expert Evidence (CMEE) as ADR tools.
